
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975)[1] is an American actor and director. She is also a talk show host and author. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and has won numerous awards and nominations , including the Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she was awarded an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her breakthrough role in E.T. made her a known name in the world of acting for children. The Extra-Terrestrial. A highly publicized early life which was marred by alcohol and drugs dependence, she wrote her autobiography Little Girl Lost. The actress appeared in numerous films that became popular during the 1990s-2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore and Adam Sandler starred in the films The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates Blended, and Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are just a few of her films. Her debut directorial effort, Whip It, also included her. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as an Golden Globe Award. She starred in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.
