Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She serves as anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. She is an Ohio native, and was not at all interested in markets or currencies during her time in college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. The first time she worked in business news from this job. Then, she graduated with an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The position was for four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to the US and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. Then, she became a TV anchor. CNBC employed her as a correspondent in December 2013. After serving as co-anchor for 'Worldwide Exchange,' and Power Lunch', she was hired by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the position in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is one of the most revered business journalists in the world today. Since joining CNBC her main attention has been on global consumer news.
