Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her roles as the protagonist in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Additionally, she is known for her roles in films, she has appeared in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. She was born to a psychologist as well as an ice cream shop proprietor, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the world of entertainment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program for Comparative arts. When she was just 12 the stage journey began with a performance of "Amahl and the Night Visitor", a holiday opera.
